Most of the Covid-19 patients are stable in Attock

ATTOCK: The health department in Attock has sufficient stocks of personal protective equipment (PPE) for doctors, paramedics and other health staff working in the district to tackle the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

This was stated by the Attock Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ali Anan Qamar on Wednesday.

He said that at the moment, there were as many as 29 coronavirus positive patients in the six hospitals and 14 quarantine centres in the district.

Most of these patients are in stable condition.

For the protection of doctors, he said that the government has provided it with 2,988 N95 masks, 230,430 pairs of gloves, 4,282 gowns, 848 goggles, 15,411 shoe covers and 1,639 viral transport media (VTM) kits.
