Nine held, 190 litres of liquor seized

Also seize 2.53 kg of hashish

SARGODHA: Police claimed to have arrested nine suspects and seized narcotics and weapons on Wednesday.

Police officials said that during a continued drive against drug pushers and criminals, teams of different police stations conducted raids in various areas under their jurisdictions and arrested the accused, seizing 2.53 kg of hashish, 190 litres of liquor, a 12-bore gun and a 30-bore pistol from them.

The accused included Jawad Hussain, Muhammad Anwar, Muneer, Amir Shahzad, Mujahid Hussain, Muhammad Aslam, Tahir Bilal, Waseem Abbas and Irfan. Police registered separate cases against the accused and started investigation.
