The Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) has launched a Zakat and Donation Project as a part of its Community Healthcare Services.
The project is meant to continue the relief work of helping people by providing free treatment for TB, Hepatitis B and C and liver diseases.
As part of the project physically disabled people will also be provided with artificial limbs and prosthesis.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Masood Hameed Khan invited students, faculty, staff and alumni to work as volunteers and requested philanthropists to donate generously.
