Another ‘sasta tandoor’ opens in Aabpara market

The tandoor has been set up in collaboration with the Pakistan Sweet Home.

ISLAMABAD: A cheap flat bread-making facility opened at the Aabpara market to provide subsidised food to the public during the novel coronavirus lockdown.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Secretary General Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari on Wednesday inaugurated the outlet of 'Eesar-e-Madina Sasta Tandoor' at Aabpara market. The tandoor has been set up in collaboration with the Pakistan Sweet Home. These tandoors are providing bread at Rs5 and curry for Rs50 per plate. Bukhari said the poor will be provided meals at subsidised rates. Pakistan Sweet Home Chief Zamurrad Khan said that over 100 such tandoors will be set up in the twin cities.
