American footballer Tom Brady opened up about his relationship with supermodel Gisele Bündchen, revealing that at one point, she wrote him a note saying she was unhappy with their marriage.

In a wide-ranging interview with Howard Stern on SiriusXM Wednesday morning, the football player said that two years ago, his wife made it known that she felt he wasn't holding up his part in their family.

"There was a couple years ago, she didn’t feel I was doing my part for the family," Brady said. "She felt like I would play football all season and she would take care of the house, and then all the sudden when the season would end, that I’d be like, ‘Great, let me get into all my other business activities. Let me get into my football training.'

He continued,"And she’s sitting there going, ‘Well, when are you going to do things for the house? When are you going to take the kids to school and do that?'"

Brady explained during the interview that he kept the note his Victoria's Secret model wife gave him, and still reads it, adding, "She wasn’t satisfied with our marriage, and I needed to make a change in that."

"Her point was, 'Of course this works for you but it doesn’t work for me. I had to check myself. Because she was like I have my goals and dreams, too.'"

Brady and Bündchen married in 2009 and share two children, 10-year-old Benjamin and 7-year-old Vivian. Last year, Brady discussed their marriage, telling E! that "a lot of the times, you know, I'm going one direction, she's going the other. And it's like ships passing in the night."

"I think we just have to make sure we take time for one another," he added. "And I think if you want it to get better and improve, you've gotta communicate. I want to support her and her dreams. She wants to support me and mine."
