The Chinese state-owned company Metallurgical Corporation of China (MCC) on Wednesday handed over medical supplies to the provincial disaster management authority of Balochistan, according to a press release.
The supplies included 200,000 disposable protective masks, 4,000 nucleic acid test kits, 2,000 sets of medical protective clothing, 2,000 pairs of medical gloves, 2,000 goggles and 100 infrared thermometers.
"The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic once again witnessed that China and Pakistan are true friends in times of difficulty while good brothers sharing weal and woe," said the press release.
It further stated that the material was part of MCC’s assistance as the company continued its help since the pandemic broke out in Pakistan. “Previously, the MCC Resources Development Company had delivered flour, cooking oil, rice and sugar to the six surrounding villages of Saindak.
