Man kills sister over domestic dispute

FAISALABAD: A man killed his sister after a minor argument in Chak Jhumra on Saturday. The accused managed to escape after shooting his sister.

Police have registered a case against the accused. The body was handed over to her relatives after the autopsy.

Reportedly, Imran Ali, son of Aslam, a resident of Chak No 187RB, had an argument with his 16-year-old sister Mafia during a dinner. Their father Aslam tried to resolve the fight.

Early in the morning, Ali shot his sister while she was asleep. She succumbed to her injuries and died.

When Aslam confronted his son, he threatened his father with a pistol and said that if he tried to come near him, he would kill him too.

The accused managed to escape. Police reached the scene and took the body into their custody.

Later it was handed over to her relatives and police filed a case against the accused on the statement of Aslam.
