Shaniera and Wasim Akram share hilarious pictures while in quarantine

The former cricketer and his wife are giving some light-hearted glimpses into their lives during self-isolation

Shaniera Akram isn't one to shy away from a good giggle, even as the country continues to go into self-isolation during the coronavirus pandemic.

Taking to Instagram recently, the Australian beauty and social activist decided to share some hilarious glimpses into her life with husband, former cricketer Wasim Akram, and the rest of her family.

Shaniera captioned the photo, “Quarantine got us like," alongside a photo of her and Wasim joking around wearing questionable wigs. The photos have since received thousand of likes with many fans cheering on the light-hearted take on quarantine.

Wasim Akram was the first to drop a loveable comment, writing, “What??! You posted these??! Where are you??? You can hide but you can’t run!!!! 1 hour phone ban for you.”

Meanwhile, the cricket star also shared a photo of himself after working out and wrote, “Morning and Salam world hope spirits are high in these testing times."

"10000 steps done before 8am will do some more cardio later in the afternoon that’s how I keep my morale up," he advised his followers while exercising in what looks to be his backyard.

However, the couple were also quick to urge their followers to stay at home during the coronavirus pandemic. Wasim and Shaniera also previously held a live chat via Instagram to 'get through this difficult time together.'

"Yesterday we called Shoaib Akhtar, should we bother him again?? So if you are free around 5, get online and join us. Let’s get through this difficult time apart, but together," they wrote on Instagram during quarantine.
