Emilia Clarke offers virtual date for COVID-19 relief fund
Fancy a dinner with the Mother of Dragons?
Emilia Clarke is hoping to help free up hospital space during the pandemic, and the Game of Thrones star is auctioning off a dinner date with her for the cause, reported Metro.
She took to Instagram to explain her mission, which is to raise £250,000 for her charity SameYou, that aims to help people recovering from brain injuries and strokes get help at home. "This fund will also help in freeing up the hospital beds needed to deal with the pandemic, to care for those who also need a space to heal," she explained.

"I’m coming at you with a little request. Would you help me? Would you like to help me, please, raise £250,000 for SameYou’s COVID-19 Relief Fund?" she asked in the video posted to her Instagram.
Emilia, who has braved two brain aneurysms that required intense surgery, went on to add that the deal also had a 'thank you' note attached.
"The thank you goes a little something like this: How would you feel about having dinner with me? Virtually," she said. "What we will do is when you donate, you can click on a link, tick a box, and that will be a randomised selection process, and 12 lucky people will join me virtually (for dinner)."

Emilia also added that she plans to cook a meal from scratch with the lucky 12 before sitting down for dinner. "We’ll discuss lots of things – isolation, fear, and funny videos, and the fact that I can’t really cook. It’s going to be fun! It’s going to be interesting," she said.
It's a great plea if you ask us, and who wouldn't like to sit down with the Khaleesi over dinner?
