Holy Month’s Rules: Ramazan Ordinance’s terms spelled out

KARACHI: The government has issued a Ramazan Ordianance under which eating and drinking at public places has been banned. The ordinance will be in effect from Ramazan 1. Cinemas, theatres and other entertainment places will only be allowed to open three hours after sunset. Under this ordinance, severe action will be taken against profiteers, hoarders and adulterers of food. All deputy commissioners have been ordered to control the price of basic commodities.
