As the world is forced into change post pandemic, it seems that people are finally realising the worth of something they never deemed important. Things that we took for granted have suddenly turned into a luxury and even the most luxurious cannot afford them.

From not being able to enjoy freedom or call for help at home, celebrities and people alike are now uploading videos of performing household tasks they never had to do.

In the light of which - amid the ongoing tributes being paid to doctors - popular actor Bilal Ashraf also paid a tribute to the domestic helpers who make our lives easy without us even acknowledging them.

After paying respect to the first line of defense - our medical practitioners - the Superstar actor took to Instagram on Sunday and uploaded an illustration for the domestic staff.

He coupled his post with the question, "Haan Jee tou phir domestic staff especially cleaning staff ke yaad aa rahee hai? (So do you all miss your domestic staff yet?)"

He then paid his respect to the cleaning staff that is still out there while mentioning the people not used to working at home. "For all those not used to it how does it feel cleaning everything yourself? Respect for all the cleaning staff out there who r still risking their lives for us."

Bilal had earlier paid respect to the doctors in a similar manner.

He had uploaded another adorable illustration with a caption, "The real heroes who risk everything for us. May Allah protect them and their families. Ameen."

The actor had also penned a note on how it took a virus for people to self reflect. He said, "We were so busy in chasing material things and interested in causing others harm by pulling them down. 'Why is her/her business doing better?', 'My project is better than his/her project', 'I have more money', 'I am more connected', 'I am more powerful'."

Bilal then concluded, "Now, no games we play towards each other will matter. No 'Me, myself and I'. A great lesson to the world from Allah. Truth is, some will still never learn."
