Appointments, transfers betide in the Punjab Food Department

It has already completed queuing for the procurement of 45,00,000 tonnes of wheat for the province

LAHORE: The Punjab Food Department has completed queuing for the procurement of 45,00,000 tonnes of wheat for the province. On the other hand, the provincial food secretary on Tuesday, also issued orders for the appointment and transfer of district food controllers of 11 districts and the deputy director food of the Faisalabad division.

As per the official notification, an order for transferring Faislabad Deputy Director Food Dr Muhammad Zia and reporting to the secretary office has been issued, while Deputy Secretary Sardar Safiullah Khan has been appointed as the new deputy director of the Faisalabad division.

Furthermore, Ruhail Butt, who had been awaiting appointment has been appointed as the Okara district food controller (DFC), while Humayoun Akhtar Gul, deputed in Okara has been appointed as the district food controller for Narowal.

Similarly, Nankana District Food Controller Muhammad Sardar has been appointed as S&EO Gujranwala, while Bhawalpur District Food Controller Umair Saghir has been transferred and appointed as DFC Nankana.

Also, Aijaz Ahmed Siyal, awaiting appointment has been appointed as DFC Bahawalpur. On the other hand, Dera Ghazi Khan Assistant Director Food (ADF) Javed Iqbal Warraich has been appointed as DFC Dera Ghazi Khan while Layyah District Food Controller Mian Parvez Afzal has been transferred and appointed as ADF Dera Ghazi Khan.

Muhammad Shoaib, awaiting appointment has been appointed as District Food Controller Layyah. Kasur DFC Zulfikar Ahmed has been transferred and appointed as S&EO Lahore, while Assistant Director Food Admin Saghir Ahmed has been appointed as DFC Kasur.

Moreover, Lodhran District Food Controller Abdul Majid has been transferred and appointed as DFC Rahim Yar Khan, while Asghar Setho appointed in Rahim Yar Khan has been appointed as DFC Lodhran.

Lahore District Food Controller Zoya Ahmed has been transferred and appointed as ACI Rawalpindi, while Khalid Akram, awaiting appointed has been appointed as the district food controller Jhelum and lastly, Narowal Storage officer (SO) Rana Riaz Ahmed has been appointed as SO Naushero Virkan procurement centre.
