ISLAMABAD: A high level delegation of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) led by its president Senator Haji Ghulam Ali, is currently visiting Bangkok to participate in the Asia-Pacific Business Forum 2011.  The FPCCI delegation has been participating actively in the Business Forum’s deliberations, with former President of FPCCI and Saarc CCI Tariq Sayeed moderating a plenary session titled “Can Asia and the Pacific lead global business?”  FPCCI President Senator Haji Ghulam Ali noted that Asia-Pacific region represents a large and vital segment of the world economy and is a growth leader in the future. He said that along with economic enhancement, countries need to focus on Millennium Development Goals (MDGS), health, education, and environment in the region.
