LOS ANGELES: US athlete Allyson Felix will run both the 200 metre and 400 metre at the World Championships next month in South Korea. Felix, the three-time defending 200 metre world champion, announced the much anticipated decision on her Twitter account. “Decided to go for the double (200/400) at WCs,” she tweeted. “Will be very difficult, but first step to accomplishing greatness is trying.” Felix won the 400 metres at the US championships in June, a victory that made her the first woman to win national titles in the 100, 200 and 400 metres in a career.
