'K-P police stations to be digitalised'

Italah reporting platform aims to digitalise and record of all the police stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

MALAKAND: The provincial government has decided to compurterise police stations across the province.

Adviser to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) chief minister on Science and Technology and Information Technology Ziaullah Bangash on Saturday said this during a visit to the first digital reporting hub in Malakand division.

He was informed that Italah reporting platform was aimed to digitalise and record of all the police stations in the province. Speaking on the occasion, Bangash said police stations across the province will be computerised while the old record of the police stations will also be computerised with the assistance of the K-P IT Board (K-PITB).

The IT advisor said police working systems have been computerised across the world and as per the directives of PM Khan, K-P police department will also be digitalised.
