OMI offers discounts to mark Women’s Day

Women can avail the premium packages for women's wellness with a 70% discount through a phone call

To mark International Women's Day, the Orthopaedic and Medical Institute (OMI) has offered three discount packages for laboratory tests for women for the entire month.

Women can avail the premium packages for women's wellness with a 70 per cent discount through a phone call. The packages include mammography, complete blood count (CBC), Hemoglobin A1C, thyroid-stimulating hormone, Vitamin D, calcium and dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scan.

The promotions will be available until March 31.

OMI chief executive officer Dr Imtiaz Hassan claimed that this effort is evidence of aid for women.

According to Hassan, to empower women, there is a need to provide quality health services and education to them. He added that the private sector would have to work alongside the government to achieve the goal.

He further said that their intention to keep the discount for the whole month is to extend the women's day celebration instead of limiting it to only one day.
