LAHORE: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi called on Punjab Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar at the CM office on Saturday. Both discussed matters pertaining to mutual interest, politics and setting up of south Punjab secretariat.

Buzdar noted that the former rulers had embezzled the funds of southern Punjab and gave hope to people through false slogans. He maintained the people of the region had reposed their trust in the PTI and vowed to work for their betterment.

“People of south Punjab will get their due right and every district and every village will be included in the development process,” he said. The chief minister observed that administrative preparations regarding the establishment of south Punjab secretariat were complete.

He said new roads, hospitals, colleges and universities will be set up in the region.
