Establishment of S Punjab secretariat reviewed
CM says establishment of the south Punjab secretariat would be made following the interests of people of south Punjab
LAHORE:
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Friday chaired a meeting of the executive council of South Punjab at his office and reviewed matters relating to the establishment of a secretariat for the region.
The participants presented their proposals about South Punjab and its secretariat. It was decided in the meeting to make the secretariat functional soon.
The chief minister said that the establishment of the south Punjab secretariat would be made following the interests of people of south Punjab. The establishment of the south Punjab secretariat would be ensured at every cost. He highlighted that the Punjab government had allocated funds for the south Punjab secretariat and all administrative preparations have been completed.
“The problems of people would be resolved at grass root level after the establishment of south Punjab secretariat,” he said.
