According to a press release,the event was attended by Cricket Star Zaheer Abbas, Director General Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) Dr. Fouzia Saeed, Prof. Zafar, Cricketer Sadiq Muhammad and renowned sport Journalist Qamar Ahmed.
Zaheer Abbas lauded the solo performance, describing it as "outstanding". Dr Fouzia Saeed also appreciated the performance of Saira Peter, saying that it was a wonderful and beautiful performance, calling Peter a versatile singer. Furthermore, she has invited Peter to also perform at the PNCA.
Peter and her husband a music director Stephen started the performance with classical opera receiving high applause from the audience. From there, Peter went on to perform Sufi Kalam of the likes of of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai and Bullay Shah .
Peter has the distinction to be the world's first Sufi opera singer. Her strong command on western classical and eastern aesthetic which make her a prominent artist in Pakistan and whole world. In the span of her career, she has performed in various countries.
