DIG reshuffles 16 SHOs in Lahore

Postings come two months after earlier transfers

LAHORE: Lahore police have witnessed another major reshuffle as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Rai Babar Saeed on Monday issued orders for transfer and posting of station house officers (SHOs) of 16 police stations.

The posted SHOs also include sub-inspectors. This is the second major reshuffle in the force in two months. In December last year, at least 22 SHOs were transferred and posted by the DIG.

In the fresh shakeup, Kot Lakhpat SHO Inspector Munawwar Dogar was transferred and posted as Bhatti Gate SHO and Sub-Inspector (SI) Waqas Bukhari was posted as Kot Lakhpat SHO.

Chowki Main Market In-charge SI Abdul Qadir was posted as Faisal Town Additional SHO, SI Naseemul Anjum was posted as Green Town Additional SHOand Race Course SHO Inspector Shahzeb was posted as Gujjarpura SHO.

With winter comes a new wave of crimes

Moreover, Ichra PS Additional SHO Nayyar Nisar was posted as Manawan Additional SHO and SI Ishtiaq Ahmad was posted as Millat Park Additional SHO. Inspector Abdul Majid, Inspector Hafiz Mohammad Tariq, SI Mohammad Akram Khan and Inspector Munir Ahmad were sent to Police Lines.

In the reshuffle of 22 SHOs in December, Inspector Shahbaz Ahmed was transferred from Police Lines to Wahdat Colony as SHO, Sub-Inspector Mohammad Akram Khan as Additional Green Town Police Station SHO and Sub-Inspector Taimoor Abbas as Nawab Town Additional SHO.

Inspector Sohail Ikhlaq was transferred from Police Lines and deputed as Lohari Gate SHO, Inspector Syed Intikhab Hussain was transferred from Batapur Police Station to Shadman SHO while Chowki Sabzi Mandi Nishtar Colony In-charge Sub-Inspector Yasir Bashir was deputed as Data Darbar Additional SHO.
