Two killed, three injured in Haripur

Two teenage boys were killed, while tree others were injured in two separate incidents.

HARIPUR: Two teenage boys were killed, while tree others were injured in two separate incidents on Sunday.

According to the police and eyewitnesses, a group of youngsters were engaged in aerial firing during a marriage ceremony in Aramdara Sirikot village, during which four persons got seriously injured. They were taken to the Ghazi Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, where one of them, Ansar Shah, 18, was pronounced dead.

Athar Zaman and Muhammad Irfan, the injured, were shifted to the Ayub Medical College. The police have arrested three brothers Musawwar, Mansoor and Tasawwar, who were allegedly involved in the firing. Meanwhile, a boy drowned in Ghazi Brotha Barrage. The Ghazi police said Raheem, 15, went to take a bath in the barrage when he accidentally slipped into the deep water and drowned. His body was later recovered and handed over to his family.
