The Forty Rules of Love writer took to Instagram and penned her admiration for the laureate's 'courage' and 'commitment to girls' education'.
"Yesterday I had a talk at Oxford University Lady Margaret Hall; there was a wonderfully engaged and young and diverse audience and among them how great it was to see and then meet Malala, whose courage and deep commitment to girls’ education I wholeheartedly salute and admire."

Yousafzai, on the other hand, had recently met the young climate change activist, Greta Thunberg at Oxford on Tuesday as well. The two posed for a picture together while sitting on a bench with their arms around each other.
