Her tweet read, "Someone sent this to me: I wonder why Priyanka Chopra is quiet on the Delhi crisis and killings taking place in New Delhi? Or does her 'Good Will' only apply to Hindutva/BJP?”
The question prompted several social media users to also take notice of the missing Good Will Ambassador, who was quite vocal when it came to defending herself after Ayesha Malik called her a 'war-monger'.

Khan's thread also led to several others questioning the missing celebrities who hadn't called out the brutality of BJP, including Shah Rukh Khan. She responded to them by saying, "He was Probably afraid of getting lynched and I understand that but she’s clearly a patriot, she’s said so herself."
What about Sharukh Khan? Has he said anything?

"She was happy to tweet 'Jai Hind' when Pakistan was involved. And is quiet when it comes to the Muslims in her own country? Yeh kaisi patriotism hai Bhai? (What kind of patriotism is this?)" questioned the star.
Others, however, argued that it was not the job of celebrities that are being expected to do the work of concerned authorities.
"I agree with you but I guess we are somewhere expecting celebrities to do the work of concerned authorities. If any celebrity speaks on his/her personal wish, it is commendable but forcing or expecting them to tweet on our wishes wont be wise."

Khan had also tweeted several posts calling out the BJP earlier, and her endless attempts at bringing the Kashmir issue into the limelight in 2019, also led to her being threatened with her social media accounts being censored.

Her accounts were reported for speaking against Indian oppression in Kashmir. She shared how she had been ‘shadow-banned,’ implying that her posts would not be searchable, while some of them had also been removed. Khan claimed that it was an attempt at silencing her from voicing the truth.

"Hi guys, As you know I’ve been speaking out in support of human rights in Kashmir. I knew the risks, I lost projects and now I’ve been censored and under threat of losing my social media accounts. This is the price for speaking out. I won’t stop so now who will stand with us?" she had questioned.
