Indonesia offers scholarships to Pakistani students

Students can apply for the KNB 2020 scholarship, offered by the Indonesian government by April 20

ISLAMABAD: Indonesia on Saturday scholarships for Pakistani students to pursue higher education in the south Asian country.

This was decided by the Indonesian embassy. To be provided under the offered Kemitraan Negara Berkembang (KNB) programme, it will provide an opportunity for local students to pursue post-graduate degrees in Indonesian universities.

Indonesian embassy officials, however, stressed that it is essential for applicants to meet the eligibility criterion for the KNB Scholarship.

In this regard, they said that the maximum age for an applicant is 35-years-old, the applicant must already hold a bachelor’s degree from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized institution, the applicant should have cleared their TOEFL or IELTS examinations with scores of 80 or 6.0 respectively, the applicant must be able to maintain a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher and must be nominated by the Indonesian embassy.

Students can apply for the KNB 2020 scholarship, offered by the Indonesian government by April 20.
