In a statement issued by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Saturday, different firms had submitted their bids in response to an advertisement published by the authority earlier this month.
The authority has opened the financial bids and in the next phase, the bids will be evaluated on technical and financial aspects.
Thereafter, the contracts for the project will be awarded and work on the project will commence.
The relevant department has been directed to complete all legal formalities so that work on the project can begin in March.
The 2.6-kilometre Kurang Road has been in a dilapidated state for many years now.
