In an interview with author Ian Bremmer, the former minister said a state that renegades on its commitments becomes a rogue state.
"It becomes a rogue state, not only internationally or regionally, but to its own people, because a state is known by its commitment to its own people and to the world. If a state renegades on all the commitments it makes, then it becomes a rogue state," she said.
Khar further added that India's shift is irretrievably dangerous.
"It's not short term dangerous or medium-term dangerous. It's going to create a whole dynamic, which we will not be able to reverse."

The former minister added that India has gone against every international, regional and bilateral commitment it made to Pakistan, after its actions on August 5, when it revoked the special status of occupied Kashmir.
She further maintained that world leaders such as those in India, the United States, the United Kingdom and Austria were voted in despite the fact that they are "doing what is not right for their country."
Khar said those leaders continue to take their country in directions which are not good for it.
"It's based on division, based on fear. Currently, fear is being sold very well by all these extremist populous leaders."

Khar maintained that India's descent into chaos - under Modi's leadership - is the most significant event of this century for the region.
The minister clarified that she does not take joy as India continues to self destruct, "because this region is bound together by geography".
India s descent into chaos under #Modi is perhaps the most significant event of this century for this region. Remarkable that one leader can steer the course from growth & development to an ‘intolerant’, ‘insecure’ version of itself.

As a ‘Pakistani’ I do not take joy in India s sef destructive mode because this region is bound together by geography. Can just hope that India reclaims its secular credentials and understands that stability & peace r prerequisites of the power that it seeks to project.
