Shilpa Shetty blessed with a baby girl

This is her second child with husband Raj Kundra

Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra have welcomed a baby girl through surrogacy, reported The Indian Express. This is their second child together.

Shilpa took to Instagram to announce the arrival of their little bundle of joy. "Our prayers have been answered with a miracle. With gratitude in our hearts, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our little angel Samisha Shetty Kundra," she wrote.

The baby, whose name is an amalgamation of Sanskrit and Russian, was born on February 15.

"'Sa' in Sanskrit is 'to have', and 'Misha' in Russian stands for 'someone like God'. You personify this name." explained Shilpa on her lengthy Instagram post dedicated to her daughter.

Her husband is equally overjoyed, announcing the news on his own Instagram. "I can’t express how happy I am to announce the newest member of our family Samisha Shetty Kundra," he wrote.

Shilpa and Raj were married in 2009 and share a seven-year-old son, Viaan Raj Kundra.
