The month-long annual festival would kick-off with a dog show in Jillani Park on Sunday. While addressing a news conference, PHA Marketing Director Dr Rabia Riasat announced the schedule of the festival highlighting that the authority would host more than 15 colourful and fun-filled events up to Pakistan Day on March 23.
PHA has made foolproof security arrangements for this free annual festival, the marketing director assured.
Riasat revealed that the authority also partnered with a cellular company to decorate the Canal Road with colourful lights.
“The annual festival is a gift for citizens of Lahore and adjoining areas,” PHA Chairman Engr Yasir Gillani said.
As per the announced schedule: Mural Painting Competitions would take place at various colleges across the city on March 4, Cat Show of domesticated felines at Jilani Park and Chirrian da Chamba, a women event to showcase Pakistani culture would take place in the Township on March 8.
Towards the end of the festival, a fireworks show would be organised at the Greater Iqbal Park in the late hours of March 22 up to the early hours of March 23.
PHA Chairman invited citizens with their families in all the events organised by the authority.
