‘Robber’ killed in encounter

Two accomplices manage to escape

FAISALABAD: A suspected robber was killed, while his two accomplices managed to escape, during an encounter in Saddar area on Tuesday.

Police said that a team signalled a motorcycle carrying three persons near Gulshan-e-Haram colony on Samundri Road to stop. The outlaws opened fire at the police. One of the men died in retaliatory firing, while his two accomplices managed to escape from the scene.
