15 injured in cylinder explosion

According to Rescue 1122 officials, members of the affected family were preparing breakfast when cylinder exploded

KHANEWAL: As many as 15 members of a family were injured after a gas cylinder exploded in Chak No 10/ATR on Wednesday. Rescue 1122 officials said that members of the affected family were preparing breakfast when the cylinder exploded and the house collapsed.

Resultantly, 15 persons suffered injuries. All the injured were shifted to a local hospital. According to hospital officials, 12 persons were given first aid and sent back.

The other three persons are under treatment. Rescue 1122 workers rushed to the site and put out the fire.

The injured were identified as Bashir Ahmed, Naveed Bibi, Sumaira Bibi, Amna Bibi, Mohammad Ramzan, Mohammad Siddique, Kaneez, Rabab, Noor Fatima, Shehbaz, Mohammad Ali and others.
