‘Loan distribution to begin tomorrow’

SAPM Usman Dar says government received more than 22,000 applications from Sialkot, 77,000 from Gujranwala

SIALKOT: Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Youth Affairs Usman Dar has said that distribution of loans in Punjab under the Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme will begin from Sialkot on Wednesday.  While addressing a press conference on Monday, Dar said this is the largest youth programme in the history of the country.

He said, “We received more than 22,000 applications from Sialkot under the PM’s Kamyab Jawan Programme, while over 77,000 applications from Gujranwala division are being evaluated.”

“In this regard, 2,500-3,000 young people will appear in tests” Dar added. He mentioned that nearly 2,000 new utility stores would be opened at the union council level.
