The 31-year-old Pakistani saleswoman has been accused of forging documents to steal smartphones worth over PKR58 million.
According to Gulf News, Dubai Court of First Instance heard on Sunday that the 31-year-old Pakistani woman stole 496 smartphones between January 2014 and September 2015.

The Dubai-based company did not discover the scam until an internal audit found 92 customers had failed to pay their installments on the phones.
An Emirati internal audit manager said, "The customers who took the phones had no documents in the system. She was the one who sold the phones and packages to them through her user name and password."

"She was responsible to enter the customers’ data in the system and activate the SIM cards," he added.
Officials later realised 286 customer details were fake and had been created by the female employee to mask her crimes.
Appearing in court, the woman denied charges of theft and fraud. The next trial is on March 1.
