10 hospitalised after drinking hazardous milk

Ten members of a family were admitted to the emergency ward of the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital after consuming hazardous milk in a village.
The family members including men, women and children were stated to be severely ill.
They included Mohammad Ramzan, his wife, sister, two young sons and daughters aged 17 and 20 years.
The affected members of the family told The Express Tribune that they bought milk from a milkman on a daily basis. However, all of them fell ill after drinking the milk on Sunday.
THQ hospital sources said that two members of the family were in a critical condition. Police said no report had been lodged by the family and they would start legal proceedings after receiving a complaint.
