An aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed near Shorkot in Punjab on Friday, Radio Pakistan reported.
The Mirage aircraft was on a routine operational training mission at the time of the incident, said a statement released by the PAF.

A board of inquiry has been ordered by Air Headquarters to determine the cause of the accident.
Last month, two PAF pilots were martyred as an FT-7 aircraft on a routine operational training mission crashed near Mianwali.
Squadron Leader Haris bin Khalid and Flying Officer Ibaadur Rehman were martyred.
