Land Scam: Lawmaker given in FIA custody

ISLAMABAD: A court in the federal capital granted on Thursday a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) legislator to the custody of investigators for four days. Aqeel was remanded over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). The remand was given in connection with an FIR filed against him last year on a complaint filed by Sabahat Ali, who claimed that he had been defrauded of Rs950,000 on the promise of a piece of land which was never handed over to him.
