Paying The Price: 4 shopkeepers fined for overcharging

FAISALABAD: The special price control magistrate fined four shopkeepers found guilty of profiteering and overcharging on Thursday. According to district officials, special price control magistrate Riaz Husain Anjum conducted several raids at Sargodha Road and found four shopkeepers, Muhammad Amjad, Muhammad Ashfaq, Muhammad Ashraf and Mian Manzoor Husain, involved in overcharging. The raiding officer fined the men Rs11,000 and issued a warning. Price officials said that anyone found overcharging during the month of Ramazan would be arrested.
