The company’s Wii has been quite successful since its launch in 2006, with more than 101 million consoles in its seven-year of doing business.

After the release of Wii U and the Switch, Nintendo plans to discontinue providing service for damaged Wiis in Japan and no longer accepts new units effective from March.
