Project delay: CM holds Mubarakmand responsible

HYDERABAD:

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has held Dr Samar Mubarakmand responsible for the ‘slow’ work, which has delayed the Thar coal project.

“Frankly speaking, Dr Mubarakmand’s work is slow,” he said, while speaking at a press conference in Hyderabad on Wednesday night.

The Sindh government has divided Thar into eight coal-mining blocks. Block-V was given to Mubarakmand, a nuclear scientist, for the underground coal gasification project. The federal government is responsible for funding the project, according to Shah.

What is he talking about: were requested funds for equipment made available.

CM is too old to re-call the facts.
