CDA hiring town planners, traffic engineers

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has commenced the recruitment of professional and qualified town planners and traffic engineers for its Planning Wing.
To ensure merit in the recruitment process, the services of a testing agency have been acquired. In this connection, an advertisement for recruitment has been published in the national dailies, a CDA statement said on Wednesday.
The advertisement invites applications for the posts of deputy director planning, town planners, traffic engineer, assistant town planner, assistant quantity surveyor and surveyor.
Besides taking steps for strengthening its Planning Wing, the CDA has also established a Geographical Information System (GIS) Laboratory and signed an agreement with the Survey of Pakistan and the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) for equipping Planning Wing with modern technology.
