Over 500 Danish schools’ employees to be sacked

More than 100 employees will be transferred under the downsizing and rationalisation policies of the authority

Danish School Authority has decided to send home more than 500 employees who have been working in different Danish schools across the province.

Reportedly, more than 100 employees will be transferred under the downsizing and rationalisation policies of the authority.

Sources added that there are eight Danish schools operational in Attock, Chishtian, Dera Ghazi Khan, Hasilpur, Mianwali, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur and Rahim Yar Khan.

From these schools, employees of different categories including gardeners, waiters, security guards, tubewell operators, junior clerks, cooks, electricians, generator operators, tailors, and blacksmiths will be sent home this month.

The employees being sent home include more than 50 employees from Punjab Danish school, Jand, Attock.
