The officials were terminated per clause 8.05 (A, B and C) of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Employees Service Regulations 1992.
The officials who have been terminated have been identified as Iqbal Khan and Mujeebur Rehman. Both were technicians at the Capital Hospital.
The CDA in a statement said that both technicians were subject to a formal investigation on the charges of inefficiency, misconduct and corruption.
They were given the right of defence but they failed to submit a satisfactory reply.
The officials were also granted the opportunity of a personal hearing, however, they failed to defend themselves.
After all, formalities were completed, and consequent recommendations from the competent authority, CDA Member Administration, the termination of the officials was approved and thereafter the hospital administration formally issued the termination orders for them.
Moreover, the CDA said that they aim to recover a sum of Rs464,472 from Iqbal and Rs.464,472 from Rehman.
