Gcu Faisalabad: Library and other upgrades underway

A state-of-the-art library to be established for an estimated cost of Rs24.2 million.

FAISALABAD: A state-of-the-art library and vice chancellor (VC) house is to be established in Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) for an estimated cost of Rs24.2 million. A GCUF spokesperson told reporters on Wednesday that Rs14.65million had been earmarked for the library, while Rs9.55 million had been allocated for the VC house. The university will also get a new car parking shed and the botany department is to be upgraded. “There are several upgrade and repair issues that will be addressed within the next six months,” he said.
