Green Belts: Sprucing up the district

Under the new measures, date trees, flowers, plants and herbs will be planted in all the green belts.

SIALKOT: The district government has ordered a new beautification campaign for greenbelts in the district. Under the new measures, date trees, flowers, plants and herbs will be planted in all the green belts on main inter-city roads in Sialkot. Sialkot Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) officer Pervaiz Iqbal Butt told reporters that TMA authorities had already enlisted the help of several greenhouses and nurseries in the area in this regard.
