In Jhelum ,cleanliness drive planed for Rohtas Fort
The meeting reviewed the Clean and Green Punjab campaign
JHELUM:
A drive will be launched soon to clean the Rohtas Fort. Students and civil society youth will be engaged to clean the Jhelum landmark.
In this regard, on the directives of Jhelum DC Saif Anwar Jappa, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Syed Nazarat Ali presided over a special meeting in the Committee Room. The meeting reviewed the Clean and Green Punjab campaign.
Nazarat Ali said that an awareness campaign will be started in Rohtas Fort on January 16 for the cleanliness and plantation drive. Meanwhile, DC Jappa visited various areas of Jhelum city and inspected the arrangements regarding clean and green campaign.
According to the reports, Jhelum DC has directed cleaning and drainage improvements on Civil Lines Road, Shadab Road and other roads.
