Salman Khan new film called 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali'

The film will be released on Eid in 2021

Bollywood megastar, Salman Khan just announced his next release. The film is called Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and like the name it is set to release next year's Eid.

The Dabangg star made the reveal in a Tweet in which he also disclosed the names of others involved. "Announcing my next film, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali . Story and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, directed by Farhad Samji" he said.

According to India today, last year, Khan in a statement to Asian News International (ANI)  revealed that he will no longer be part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film Inshallah.

"Currently, Inshallah is not being made. Inshallah will be made but at least not with me. A film will definitely come on Eid. First, it (Dabangg 3) will come on December 20, then a film will come on Eid also,"he said.

Khan was reported to have starred alongside Alia Bhatt in Inshallah. Currently the actor is set to play a cop in a film called Radhe which will release on Eid this year. "Radhe was my character's name in Tere Naam (2003) and again, we used the same name for my character in Wanted (2009). But this (Radhe) is a completely different film,"Khan was quoted by India today during the trailer launch of the film.
