Three Murree housing schemes served notices
MPTE director has decided to register a FIR against the unauthorised housing schemes in Murree
RAWALPINDI:
The Rawalpindi Development Authority’s (RDA) Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MPTE) Directorate on Thursday issued notices to the owners of three illegal housing schemes in Murree.
The notices, along with Challan B-34, were issued under the Punjab Private Housing Schemes and Land Subdivision Rules 2010, to the owners of the three illegal housing schemes including Murree Green Villas in Jika Gali, Smart City Murree Housing Scheme near the Patriata Chair Lift and the Broha Farm Houses in Murree.
The MPTE director has decided to register a first information report (FIR) against the unauthorised housing schemes in Murree.
RDA has advised the public that they should not invest in any housing scheme which has been declared as illegal by RDA. Otherwise, they will themselves be responsible for any loss suffered.
RDA spokesman Hafiz Muhammad Irfan said the RDA Director General Amaara Khan has ordered the MPTE Directorate to take strict action against illegal housing schemes, constructions and site offices without any fear or favour and action should be taken according to the law.
