5 Performances to look forward to at Karachi Eat 2020

The event is scheduled to take place on January 10, 11, and 12 at Beach View Park

KARACHI: Karachi Eat is back with its 8th edition and social media is famished, not only for the food, but also the performances. The festival, which is scheduled to kick off on January 10, lasting till January 12, has become the biggest and the most anticipated event of the year.

Some may still consider not attending, given the number of challenges one has to face while going inside, others however, know that even if they find the food elsewhere, they can't find the performers.

Thus, here are the performances everyone needs to look forward to, while attending the event.

1. Asrar

Everyone knows Asrar's vocal range and deep mystical voice has the potential to spellbind anyone, even those who aim to visit simply for the sake of food. The Oh Mastanay, Bulleya and Lajpaal Ali singer, is now ready to brace the stage with his magical performance at the KhiEat 2020.

2. Josh

Another big name for those who want to dance while eating and scream at the top of their lungs, Josh naal pao bhangra band is ready to perform at the three day event as well.

3. Sahara Band UK

Another band the public is bound to dance to, is none other than the makers of Bilo Ni Tera Laal Ghagra. Everyone's been dancing to this for as long as they can remember, but only a few have gotten the opportunity to see the RDB band live.

4. Zoe Viccaji

Lo and behold, the Ishq Kinara singer is also going to be performing at the Karachi Eat this year. Listening to Viccaji's voice while devouring on some delicious chicken cheese bombs is bound to be a bliss.

5. Nauman Khalid

Another man with another hit track - Desi Thumka has been repeatedly played, sung and danced to, at each and every Pakistani's Mehendi and Nauman Khalid is to blame. This punjabi singer is also making his way to the Eat festival.

Other performances include Falak Ahmad Shaikh, Waqar Ehsin and Rafay Israr. "My playlist will comprise of Sufi numbers, some of my melo original songs and upbeat  Bhangra tracks which will portray the true essence of celebration. See you all this weekend!" Israr told The Express Tribune.
