The CM was satisfied with the work being done in the college and hoped that it would be affiliated with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) soon.

The college’s principal, Prof. Iqbal Ahmed Memon, said that there are 13 faculties of which seven are for chemistry and the remaining six are for medicine. There are six demonstrators at the college, he added.

Memon told the gathering of a visit by a PMDC team that formally approved and recognised the college. The first year admissions have also been completed with fixed quota for areas such as Lyari, Keamari, Bin Qasim and Malir.
