Woman burnt alive in DG Khan 

The suspect was arrested promptly.

DERA GHAZI KHAN: A woman was burnt to death allegedly by her brother-in-law at her house in Taunsa Sharif on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Shaheen. Her brother, Maqsood Ahmad, told the police that Shaheen’s brother-in-law, Ghulam Akbar, had poured petrol on her sister, locked the room’s door from outside due to which she could not help herself and burnt alive.

On receiving information, police reached the spot and shifted the body to THQ Taunsa. The suspect was arrested promptly.

The deceased was the mother of three children. Police officials at the Police Station Retra took the body into their custody and started further investigations.

Ghulam Akbar, the accused involved in the incident, was arrested immediately on the orders of DPO Asad Sarfaraz Khan.
