LAHORE: Not even nephew of Prime Minister Imran Khan could remain safe from house robbers under the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government in Punjab, as cash and valuables worth over a million rupees were looted from his residence on Saturday.
At least three robbers on gun point barged into Sher Shah Khan’s house situated on Upper Mall in Race Course Police limits and deprived the family of their belongings.

The complainant told police that at least three suspects, one displaying a pistol, barged into their house in wee hours of Saturday. They looted mobile phones, cash, gold ornaments and other valuables – all amounting up to over Rs1 million from them forcefully, said Sher.
Police registered a case against the suspects.
A spokesperson for Lahore Police said that police teams had collected forensic evidence from the crime scene, adding that CCTV footage was being analysed to identify the suspects.
“We are using modern technology to bring the culprits to book,” he said.
